Browns remain favored over Jets despite rough Week 1

Confidence in the Browns shaken a bit after the Week 1 disaster at home against Tennessee? That’s understandable, but there is still considerable faith in the team by those who have vested interest in the outcomes.

The Browns are favored by 2.5 points to beat the New York Jets in Giants Stadium on Monday Night Football in Week 2. The line has held steady at BetMGM since the opening.

It’s just the second time in the last four seasons the Browns have been road favorites. In Week 12 of last season the team was favored by a point at rival Cincinnati. The Browns won that game, 35-20.

The Browns were favored by 3 points in last year’s meeting with the Jets. Cleveland prevailed in that game, winning 21-17 to snap the prolonged losing streak.
