One new player and two players re-signed is what the doctor has ordered for the Cleveland Browns on day two of free agency. Earlier today, it was reported that the Browns were signing defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson and later this afternoon former Ravens 2015 first round pick Breshad Perriman was put back on the payroll.
The latest Browns move consists of a signing involves a twist of the previous two. Defensive tackle Carl Davis, a former 2015 third-round pick of the Ravens, re-signed in Cleveland according to a team announcement.
Davis only played 31 defensive snaps for the Browns last season in five games. He is seen as a depth piece to a defensive line needing just that.
