Quarterback Joe Flacco is receiving a ton of national attention for the way he has come into the starting lineup for the Cleveland Browns and played right away. Just off his couch three weeks ago, Flacco led the Browns to a win over the leader in the AFC South, the Jacksonville Jaguars, throwing for 311 yards and three scores in the process.
And as a result, Flacco has now been nominated for FedEx Air Player of the Week. He has been nominated with both Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, and Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers.
As the Browns sit with the top wildcard spot with four games to go, and with the Chicago Bears up next, there is plenty of season left for Flacco and the Browns to continue to write what has already been a memorable story in 2023.
