Browns QB Deshaun Watson to Miss Week 4, Dorian Thompson-Robinson Will Start

The Browns will have a new QB1 for their Week 4 matchup with the Ravens, as Deshaun Watson’s pregame warmup to test out a sore shoulder apparently didn’t “go as hoped,” according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

In turn, Cleveland will now hand the keys to the offense over to rookie fifth-round draft pick Dorian Thompson-Robinson. The former UCLA quarterback played in four preseason games for the Browns this season, completing 37-of-58 attempts for 440 yards.

Over his five seasons with the Bruins, Thompson-Robinson completed 63.3 percent of his passes for 10,710 yards, 88 touchdowns and 36 interceptions. Over his final two years, he threw 48 passing touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

Through three gams this season, Watson has completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 678 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.
