Browns officially place WR Odell Beckham Jr. on I.R.

It was more of a paperwork formality than anything dramatic or unexpected, but the Cleveland Browns made it official on Tuesday. The Browns placed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on the injured reserve list.

Beckham is expected to miss the rest of the 2020 season with a torn ACL in his left knee. Beckham suffered the injury on the second offensive snap in the Week 7 win over the Cincinnati Bengals when he jumped to try and make a tackle on Darius Phillips’ interception.

The team did not immediately fill Beckham’s roster spot. With the expectation that wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge could be activated off injured reserve this week, the Browns might not need to make an outside move.
