Browns injury update: Rashard Higgins practices again, should play in Week 6

Wide receiver Rashard Higgins was a full participant for the third practice session in a row on Friday. That means the veteran should be in the lineup for Sunday’s matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

His return cannot come soon enough for Baker Mayfield and the struggling Browns passing offense. Higgins has not played since suffering a knee injury in the Week 1 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

After Thursday’s practice, coach Freddie Kitchens offered this about Higgins’ availability for Sunday,

“Higgins looked better. We will see where we are at the end of the week. With some of these things, you just have to see how they are the next day and see how they respond to what they did today from a physical standpoint.”

With another full practice in the books and no apparent setbacks, Higgins should be ready to roll against Seattle.
