The questionable status for several Browns players who have been sidelined with injuries wound up being answered in the negative. Five of the six Browns who were designated as questionable on the final injury update are inactive for Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
As expected, both starting cornerbacks Greedy Williams and Denzel Ward, are out for a third consecutive game. They suffered hamstring injuries in a practice following the Week 2 win over the Jets.
Wideout Rashard Higgins, who was also listed as questionable on the final injury report, is also inactive.
