Browns hosted UCF DT Trysten Hill for a pre-draft visit

Talented Trysten Hill paid an official pre-draft visit to the Cleveland Browns. The UCF defensive tackle would make an interesting fit with the Browns in new coordinator Steve Wilks’ defense.

A report from Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst indicates that not only did Hill visit with the Browns, but he’s potentially in play for one of the team’s Day 2 picks in this week’s draft.

Hill has exceptional quickness off the line for a 6-3, 308-pound interior defender. His pass rush moves are more advanced than many of his draft classmates, too. Yet he is dogged by questions about his attitude and coachability; he didn’t start for the Knights and left the program unapologetically, frequently mentioned in UCF game broadcasts as being “in the doghouse”.

If Freddie Kitchens and the Browns staff believe he fits in the Dawg Pound better than the doghouse, Cleveland could wind up with a draft steal if they select Hill. He’s the exact type of prospect the private visits are designed for with teams.
