Browns host Valdosta State CB Stephen Denmark for pre-draft visit

Cleveland Browns GM John Dorsey continues to cast a wide net for 2019 NFL Draft prospects with his scouting department. This week the net pulled in Valdosta State cornerback Stephen Denmark for an official visit in Berea.

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle first reported the visit, which was later confirmed to have taken place on Tuesday.

Denmark offers size — he’s 6-foot-1 and a muscular 215 pounds — and great ball skills. That makes sense considering he was a wide receiver until 2017. Denmark picked off 7 passes in his two seasons playing cornerback for the Blazers. He is generally projected as a priority free agent but could sneak into the bottom couple of rounds in the draft as a developmental project while he continues to learn how to play CB.
