Browns HC Kevin Stefanski says Myles Garrett has ‘grown as a person’

Cleveland Browns new head coach Kevin Stefanski wasn’t around last season for the madness when the Steelers and Browns squared off the first time. Nevertheless, the confrontation between Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph and Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is on everyone’s mind this week as the two teams prepare to square off again on Sunday.

When Stefanski was asked about the incident he offered up a comment that I couldn’t just let go. Stefanski said that Garrett had grown as a person. This is a fascinating angle given how Garrett tried to turn this incident into something it wasn’t and portray himself as some sort of victim after the fact.

The bottom line is Garrett lost his cool, did something really stupid and then after the dust settled said something even dumber to try and destroy the character of a man to make himself look innocent and play the victim role.

Thankfully this game is going to be all about football from a Steelers point of view. Pittsburgh is holding onto a slim lead in the AFC North and cannot afford to let this one get past them.
