The Browns were among the first NFL teams to clear out some roster space following the on-field conclusion of the 2018 season. Cleveland has waived backup linebacker Tanner Vallejo.
Vallejo primarily played special teams until injuries thrust him into a more prominent role on the defense. He did start one game, the Week 15 win over the Denver Broncos. Vallejo was placed on IR with a hamstring injury the following week.
He was originally a sixth-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 2017 NFL Draft. Vallejo wraps his Browns career with 27 total tackles and one kickoff return for 2 yards.
