Browns get no compensatory draft picks, as expected

The NFL released the full list of 2019 compensatory draft picks. As expected, the Cleveland Browns did not get any of the bonus picks.

Compensatory picks are given to teams with net losses in free agency from the previous offseason. The Browns signed several free agents, notably CB T.J. Carrie, RB Carlos Hyde, OT Chris Hubbard and TE Darren Fells. On the flip side, few players whose contracts with the Browns expired (not cut or waived) signed contracts for much value to offset the spending.

Washington got the highest comp pick for losing QB Kirk Cousins in free agency to the Minnesota Vikings.
