Browns Friday injury update: still no starting CBs at practice

Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams, the regular starters for the Cleveland Browns at the cornerback spots, both remain out of action heading into the final day of practice before Monday night’s game in San Francisco.

Ward and Williams were both sidelined once again during Friday’s practice session. Each has a hamstring injury and has missed the last two games. If they don’t practice on Saturday, it seems extraordinarily doubtful either will get to play against the unbeaten 49ers.

Wide receiver Rashard Higgins was a limited participant once again. He has missed several weeks with a knee injury. Starting right tackle Chris Hubbard and safeties Morgan Burnett and Sheldrick Redwine were also limited in Friday’s session.

The good news: Jarvis Landry is back and was a full participant after being cleared from the NFL’s concussion protocol.
