In the 7th round, the Cleveland Browns selected Tulane CB Donnie Lewis with the 221st pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
The Draft Network’s Kyle Crabbs had Lewis rated as his 24th Cornerback and 215th overall prospect. Crabbs mentioned that Lewis translates as a nickel CB. He was great in coverage, nabbing 8 INTs and 49 pass breakups. Lewis did not work out at his pro day due to a screw in his foot.
Lewis also competed at the Shrine Game in January.
