Browns draft picks now finalized with Patriots win in Super Bowl LIII

We’ve known for weeks now that the Cleveland Browns would hold the No. 17 overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Due to their odd 7-8-1 finish, they’ll pick 17th in every round, too.

But John Dorsey & Co. hold two of the New England Patriots picks, too. Until Super Bowl LIII concluded, the exact slot of those two Patriots picks was unknown.

With the Patriots victory over the Los Angeles Rams, the Browns official draft order is now complete.

Cleveland will pick No. 96 overall, the last of the third round selections before the compensatory picks. New England traded that pick for Danny Shelton, who came up big in the Super Bowl after being a healthy scratch for the rest of the playoffs. The Browns also hold New England’s fifth-round pick from the Josh Gordon trade.
