Browns check out Fresno State pro day and WR KeeSean Johnson

Adding to the Cleveland scouting staff frequent flier miles, the Browns had a scout in attendance for Fresno State’s pro day on Monday.

The most prominent Bulldogs prospect is WR KeeSean Johnson, a middle-round wideout who shone during Shrine Game practices. Johnson did not disappoint in his workout, improving quite a bit upon his middling NFL combine display. At 6-1 and 200 pounds, Johnson has sticky hands and decent moves but still just pedestrian workout times (4.53 in the 40, 32.5 vertical).

The Browns met with Johnson during the Shrine Game week in January.

Two other Bulldogs who previously worked out at the combine also took the stage in Fresno. Safety Mike Bell cut over a tenth of a second off his unsavory 4.83 official 40 time. Linebacker Jeff Allison, a converted safety, stood on his workout in Indy. Both are likely undrafted free agents.
