The Cleveland Browns have a loaded roster including on their offensive line. A weakness in 2019, general manager Andrew Berry has spent resources to add talent while continuing to find talent as street free agents.
Offensive line coach Bill Callahan is a big part of the team’s development and success on the line. Callahan’s ability to get players like Michael Dunn and Blake Hance to step in quickly and succeed in high leverage games highlights his skill as a coach.
While the Browns have a talented starting five and as many as seven backups that could make the roster, Berry continues to try to add players there to get the best group he can. Cleveland placed a claim for David Moore but lost out due to the New York Jets priority as a team with a worse record from 2020:
New Jets G David Moore was a popular player on waivers, as the Bears, Browns and Raiders also attempted to claim him.
The Jets had the highest priority and got a developmental OL prospect.

Based on priority order, the Browns are last on the list of four teams noted above.
Moore was an undrafted free agent after the 2021 NFL draft but had a lot of fans of his game. A powerful blocker, Moore signed on with the Carolina Panthers quickly after going undrafted. His release was a surprise to many. As a developmental offensive lineman, Moore has upside which was recognized by four teams claiming him.
While Moore would have an uphill battle to make the roster, it is obvious that Berry will continue to be aggressive to make sure he has the best players on his team. Leaving no stone unturned including working out seven players recently, expect the Browns to be active throughout training camp in their efforts to have the best Super Bowl roster they can.
