Browns and Colts will hold joint practices in the preseason

The Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts will practice together for a few days prior to their preseason Week 2 contest this summer. Browns GM John Dorsey announced the joint sessions to local reporters at the NFL owner’s meetings in Phoenix.

Those practice sessions will be hosted by the Colts, which means the preseason game will also be in Indianapolis.

Joint practices are becoming increasingly commonplace around the NFL. The Browns have done them with both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills in recent seasons. They typically hold two or three practices together in advance of preseason meetings to get used to working against other teams instead of practicing against the same guys all the time.
