Browns acquire Titans WR Taywan Taylor via trade

Just before the roster cutdown deadline, the Cleveland Browns have added a new wide receiver to the mix. The Tennessee Titans announced they have traded WR Taywan Taylor to the Browns in exchange for a 2020 draft pick.

Taylor, a third-round pick out of Western Kentucky in 2017, had 37 receptions for 466 yards last season as a part-time starter for Tennessee. He missed three games with a foot injury but bounced back and recorded his only career 100-yard receiving game in his return vs. the Jets.

The exact draft compensation for Taylor has not yet been officially disclosed by either team. Trading for Taylor would presume to indicate the Browns are cutting a current wideout who was projected to make the 53-man roster.
