A Liverpool law firm has marked its 137th year by announcing a move to new city centre offices, a brand refresh, a host of new hires - and "strong" financial figures.
Brown Turner Ross has moved from its old Stanley Street home to the nearby The Plaza, 100 Old Hall Street - next to St Paul’s Square, and increased its headcount by 25% - recruiting six specialists and taking its team to 30
Natalie Tomlinson (head of housing disrepair), Claire Hamilton (private client solicitor) and Vicki Coulthurst (property solicitor) all join in senior positions.
Founded in 1884, the firm, which has offices in Southport and Liverpool, has also carried out a full brand refresh, which has seen the creation of a new brand marque - to represent its "modern and forward-facing vision".
The company also reported "strong" figures at the start of 2021, with Brown Turner Ross’s family matters team in particular recording a 10% uplift in results, compared to this time last year.
Sam Bushell, managing director at Brown Turner Ross, said: “I would like to applaud our people who, despite working from home, have shown a true dedication in maintaining client care with real knowledge and skill to achieve our clients aim.
"As we embark on exit from lockdown, we are in a strong position to grow further.
“These figures, along with our new appointments and rebrand rubber-stamp our reputation for providing a quality service for our clients in the Liverpool City Region and beyond. We are looking forward to the future as we look to build on a positive 2020 / 21.”
As well as new appointments, the company has announced successes and progression of various staff members.
Rebecca Chase joined the company as a paralegal in the private client team in March 2020, before accepting a training contract to become a trainee solicitor in November.
