Looking for something to do this weekend? To celebrate the end of the gas roadworks on Broughton Street, local businesses are celebrating with a weekend of events on the 30th and 31st of March.
With the street partaking in two days of fun, activities and discounts, revellers can identify which businesses are taking part by balloons hanging outside their premises.
Edinburgh brewers Barney's Beer have created a bespoke beer for the event - the exclusive Broughton Street Community Pale Ale can be found at bars and pubs such as The Empress, Kin, The Barony and The Ox over the weekend.

Cafes and shops are offering tastings of their locally produced food and drinks, free yoga will be taking place at East Side Yoga and Narcissus Flowers are doing demonstrations outside their shop (right in time for Mother's Day this weekend as well).
Broughton Street tote bags designed by Alexandra Snowdon will also be on sale with all proceeds going towards The Yard, a charity which creates beautiful havens for play for disabled children.
