Eggs might be in short supply in some shops, but not at one farm in Carmarthenshire.
Brothers Aaron and Ioan Hughes, aged 22 and 17, are now donating 300 of them per week to a school for pupils' packed lunches.
While life on their parents' farm in Llangadog continues pretty much as usual, the family is keenly aware that the coronavirus outbreak is affecting people in the area.
"We know there are a lot of families going through a hard time," Aaron said.
"And we are not short of eggs."
He said their free range hens were laying more now that the weather had picked up.
Aaron and his brother, who finished his studies at Llandovery College last year, will make their donations for 12 weeks, potentially longer.
They also milk their parents' dairy cows and look after the sheep.
The weekly egg run to Ysgol Dyffryn Aman, Ammanford, is done by Llangadog councillor Andrew James.
"Last week the eggs just disappeared!" said Cllr James.
"Everybody wanted eggs. Apparently there was a shortage in the shops."
He said the Hughes' family's gesture was much appreciated, and the eggs would be taken to food bank hubs if the school changed its current arrangements.
The Plaid Cymru councillor said donations of egg boxes would really help.
He added that his own nine hens were also full of life in the sunny weather and laying a lot of eggs.
"They're blowing them out like nobody's business," he said.
