Two brothers who admitted being armed with a knife have been handed jail terms.

He also admitted breaching a suspended prison sentence handed to him in February last year for dangerous driving.

The judge handed him a ten-year restraining order to have no contact with named parties.

Nathan Jackson 37, of Ashley Street in St Werburgh's, pleaded guilty to having a blade on March 20.

Sitting at Bristol Crown Court, Judge Julian Lambert jailed Harvey Jackson for 18 months, which includes a six months activation of the previously suspended term, with a £149 victim surcharge.

The judge jailed Nathan Jackson for three months, with a £122 victim surcharge.

A Rambo-style knife recovered in the incident was destroyed.

Police confirmed an investigation was launched after they received a complaint from a witness to the incident in which the men were arrested.
