The brother of missing estate agent Suzy Lamplugh has launched a new appeal to find out where she is.
Suzy, 25, disappeared in 1986 after going to show a house to a man called Mr Kipper in South West London.
Richard Lamplugh said her family would only be able to fully mourn her when she was found.
He said: “All we want to do is to bury Suze where we want to bury her, not where he wanted to bury her.
“The trail is starting to get cold, isn’t it? Because 35 years ago, [witnesses or those involved] are starting to get old. It is never too late, I am sure the police would always be willing.”
Mr Lamplugh believes his sister was abducted and murdered by someone she met after leaving her office.
He said: “He must have planned it very well. He must have been grooming Suzy for some time. I just can’t believe that Suze would have just gone off in his car.”
Convicted murderer John Cannan was named as a prime suspect in 2002 but has always denied any involvement.
He was released from prison three days before Suzy’s disappearance and spent time in a wine bar close to Suzy’s estate agents in Fulham.
He was also allegedly nicknamed Kipper. Richard believes he was involved but said: “You are innocent until proven guilty.”
Suzy’s car was found unlocked with the keys in the ignition and her possessions inside.
Richard said: “This didn’t seem like Suze at all. It was totally baffling to us.”
As the weeks wore on, Richard admits that he began to lose hope of finding her.
He said: “When we got to Christmas, you know there must be some real problem here.
"She’s been either murdered or, you know, abducted, being held against her will.”
