Bros stars Matt and Luke Goss in talks to make movie - but won't play themselves

Matt and Luke Goss have revealed there are plans for a film about Bros after the success of their documentary.

The brothers have found themselves back in the spotlight after their fly-on-the-wall documentary After The Screaming Stops proved to be a sensation.

The small-screen phenomenon even landed a Bafta nomination as viewers and critics were enthralled by the one-off programme that documented the Goss twins comeback as the 80s boy band.

Speaking to Radio Times magazine, Matt and Luke have indicated that a biopic could now be on the cards.

Asked if a film was a possibility, Matt said: "We have been approached, so I guess the answer's yes.

"The documentary was just the tip of the iceberg."

However, Luke said if the film does come about he would not want to play himself.

He said: "You know why I love acting?

"Because I can pretend to be someone else. How do you pretend to be yourself?

"So, no, I'd stay well away from that."

It is unclear whether the two Goss brothers will play each other or whether they want someone else to step in and bring Bros to life on their behalf.

For some, the documentary will take some topping, as fans and viewers were shepherded along a tightrope that saw the film teeter between an inspirational piece of work and car crash television.
