When will I, will I be a talk show host? Watch out Graham Norton – because Matt Goss is after your job.
Not content with conquering the charts, the Bros star wants to dominate television with his own talk show.
The 51-year-old has already had a taste of grilling celebrities during BBC4’s A Night In With Bros.
For that he interviewed Mo Farrah, Frank Bruno and Katherine Ryan.
“I really enjoyed it,” he says. “I want to do a show that’s not about me. I want it to be good conversation, fun and emotional.”
The singer, who is set to tour the UK with A Matt Goss Vegas Christmas with Hilton, has already thought about the logistics of the show.
He says: “There would be three individual guests but I don’t want my guests to share a couch.
“I think that being interviewed sometimes you feel like you don’t have enough time. I want to have a slightly deeper dive. Something that has a sexy vibe.”
Alan Carr ended his chat show because he struggled to book high-calibre guests – but Matt thinks they’d be keen as they’d see him as an equal.
“I think my guests are gonna say ‘This guy is playing the O2 next month but he’s interested in my life’,” he adds.
