Brooks Reed activated from PUP

Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury expected it soon and it was exactly that. Outside linebacker Brooks Reed was activated Saturday morning from the physically unable to perform list.

He began training camp on PUP with a hip injury.

Reed will not be able to practice with the team Saturday afternoon.

His return will add a body to the group of outside linebackers. He is expected to be a rotational player behind projected starters Chandler Jones and Terrell Suggs. He enters his ninth NFL season and first with the Cardinals.

Arizona signed him after he was released by the Atlanta Falcons in the offseason.
