It’s two years after the now-infamous Joe Buck gaffe in which he mistook Brook Koepka’s girlfriend — Jena Sims — for his ex, Becky Edwards, minutes after the golfer won the 2017 U.S. Open.
Buck apologized for the mistake days afterwards, and the very next year, when Koepka won again, he didn’t even name Sims before he emphasized Jena’s name while speaking about her. At the 2018 PGA Championship, Buck and Sims met up, snapped a photo and kept the running joke going.
Fast-forward to Monday, when Buck and Koepka got together at the site of the 2019 U.S. Open in front of Buck’s phone and shot a video in which Koepka called him “Jim”:
