Brooklyn Beckham has taken a fresh swipe at his parents amid their ongoing feud, poking fun at their family drama in his full advert for delivery service DoorDash.
The sponsored content ties in with the ongoing World Cup and in a new post on Instagram, Brooklyn – the eldest son of former footballer David and Spice Girls icon Victoria – gives away tickets to a match.
The full video sees Brooklyn say: “You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… It's a long story.”
He then takes a stack of World Cup match tickets and places them in a bag, before handing them to a DoorDash employee and adding: “These can go to someone... else. Put them somewhere fun.”
The advert also shows Brooklyn appearing to make light of public discourse about him. The ad’s set features a burnt pizza on a baking tray and a film camera, in not-so-subtle references to his efforts as a chef and professional photographer, which have seen him mocked online in recent years.
The caption reads: “Asked @doordash to go drop my FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets for you guys... happy hunting Follow @doordash’s account to see clues for where you can find them.”
Brooklyn divided fans when he teased the campaign earlier this week, with some praising the star for his tongue-in-cheek approach while others argued he was cashing in on the family feud.
Unsurprisingly, David and Victoria – who were spotted in the celeb-packed Los Angeles Stadium as the USA played their first World Cup 2026 match last week – have not publicly addressed the advert.
After years of persistent rumours of a possible fallout, and somewhat limp denials from either side, Brooklyn confirmed he was no longer on speaking terms with his parents in an explosive Instagram post in January.
The 27-year-old made a number of allegations against David and Victoria, claiming they had been trying to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, for years.
Brooklyn also accused his mother of calling him “evil” during a dispute about the seating plan for his and Peltz’s 2022 wedding, and alleged that Victoria left him feeling “uncomfortable” and “humiliated” after hijacking his first dance with his bride.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote. “I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
David and Victoria have largely dodged questions about Brooklyn’s post and the feud in general.
When asked about media coverage of “strife” in the Beckham family as he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week, the former England and Manchester United footballer said the subject was “the one thing that I don’t want to talk about”.
“To be honest, I’m sorry to stop you there, but that’s a private matter,” he told Variety.
Victoria did offer a response when she was asked about the relationship rupture in April – but appeared reluctant to even say her eldest son’s name.
She told Fortune 100: “We love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children.
“And, you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
