Brooklyn Beckham shows off his new tattoos as he poses shirtless for mirror selfie

Just like his footballer father, Brooklyn Beckham is amassing quite a large number of tattoos as he continues to add more art to his body.

The 22-year-old aspiring photographer recently took to social media to give his followers a sneaky peek at some of his ink in a cheeky topless snap.

Posing in front of a mirror, Brooklyn had a number of tattoos on show as he appeared on his Instagram stories without a shirt on.

With his face not visible to his 12.3 million followers, all focus was on Brooklyn's tatts.

In the snap, which disappears after 24 hours, viewers can make out inkings of a rose next to the word 'here', a snake and what appears to be an essay on the young star's back.

Brooklyn got his first ever permanent ink at the age of 18 in 2017.

Taking guidance from his heavily tattooed father, David Beckham, he used his dad's long-time artist Mark Mahoney when going under the needle for a controversial image of a Native American chief in a feathered headdress on his forearm.

Since then, he has gone on to get a number of tattoos - many in tribute to his family and his fiancée Nicola Peltz.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn paid tribute to the American actress when he got the name of her late grandmother, Gina, etched onto his skin for the star's 26th birthday.

In 2018, when missing his mum Victoria Beckham during New York Fashion Week, Brooklyn paid tribute to the designer with a rose-embellished heart tattooed on his bicep, accompanied by the word 'MUM'.

The eldest child of the Beckham family has also marked his love for his siblings and father too over the years - marking his brothers and sister's date of birth on his body, as well as '1975', the year former England caption David was born, on his hand.

The act of showing your love for people in the form of tattoos seems to run in the family, with Brooklyn's father once saying: "The tattoos are a way of me expressing deeper feelings about the things I care about and love.

"Am I done? Probably not.… Think Victoria’s given up on telling me to stop now. She used to. She used to say, ‘Do you have to?’ But she knows it makes me happy."

While the former Manchester United star may still be a fan of his body art, mum Victoria seems to have changed her mind on her tattoos as the years have gone by.

Once adorned with ink herself, it appears that the Spice Girl has had her designs removed in recent years as her tattoos, one of which was a tribute to husband David, no longer appear visible on the mum-of-four's body.
