Brooklyn Beckham has made it clear that he is always in his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham‘s corner amidst rumours that the young couple are in a feud with Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
On Sunday (local time), Brooklyn shared a video of him and Nicola zooming around their home city of Los Angeles on a motorbike on Instagram. Nicola had her arms wrapped around Brooklyn’s neck as he zipped the vehicle around.
“My whole world. I will always love you forever. I always choose you, baby. You’re the most amazing person I know. Me and you forever, baby,” wrote the 26-year-old in the caption.
While the post seems pretty sweet and innocuous, fans have taken the video to be a subtle comment about the rumoured “tension” between the eldest Beckham son and his parents.
People feel so strongly about the alleged Beckham feud that they’re posting full-on paragraphs to the budding chef in the comments of his video.
“If that was my son saying that, knowing what the post is about, I would be devastated,” commented one person.
“Blood is thicker than water. You might be feeling confident now. But just remember that while you’re on the way up. Who’s going to be there for you if you ever fall down? Make sure the damage isn’t irreparable when you need your family again. The real blood ones. Not a piece of paper.”
“Don’t forget your beautiful parents who will always love you unconditionally,” wrote another.
In case you’ve somehow missed the beef hullabaloo, rumour has it that the first pop culture family of Britain are feuding after Brooklyn and Nicola skipped out on David’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Originally, the couple were meant to be attending the 2025 Met Gala in New York but at the last minute, they jumped on a plane to London so they could attend the birthday bash. However, despite being in town at the time of the festivities, they ditched that too, posting other happy snaps from around the town.
According to insiders, this caused some serious waves within the family and exacerbated the tension between Victoria and her daughter-in-law Nicola.
However, there are two sides to every story. Some sources claim that Victoria and David are worried that their son is being isolated from his family by Nicola. Whereas others say that Nicola and Brooklyn are just trying to establish their own lives, like any adult married couple would.
Although it definitely feels like there’s beef here, it seems like it’s just a normal family squabble elevated to the world stage due to their fame.
