Brooklyn Beckham says he's ready to have children months after marrying Nicola Peltz

Brooklyn Beckham isn't wasting any time after declaring that he is ready to start a family with Nicola Peltz, just seven months after getting married.

The 23-year-old aspiring chef has shared his dream of becoming a "young dad" just like his father David Beckham.

David was also 23 when he and Victoria Beckham had Brooklyn – a year before the couple got married.

He told People's Magazine that he wanted a "bunch of kids", but respects the fact that it is ultimately his wife's decision.

"I could have had kids yesterday. Obviously it's my wife's body, but I've always wanted to have a bunch of kids around," he said.

"That's something I really want to do. And my dad was young when he had me. He was 23. And I'm 23 now. I've always wanted to be a young dad."

Nicola has seven siblings, and has expressed her desires to have a "big family".

She said that if Brooklyn had his way they would have "had kids yesterday", but she wants to wait for a few years.

Brooklyn also reflected on what he'd learned from his dad, adding that he was a "very hard worker".

Brooklyn added that one of David's biggest pieces of advice was "to be kind to absolutely everyone".

The eldest of the Brooklyn clan also said that he liked his dad's style, joking that he used to steal his clothes.

But, keen to make his own path, Brooklyn said how he wanted to find his own look and has opted for more of a 'skater style'.

In People's upcoming 2022 Sexiest Men Alive issue, which he featured in, he said: "Her family lives in Florida and mine in the UK, but we have our own life out here in LA and it's really really lovely. Just having each other's company, it's the best."

Brooklyn, who has been at the butt of a fair few jokes for his new cooking venture, which often sees him teach people to make meals like fish and chip sandwiches, spoke about how he's moved onto pasta.

He said how he's "really into" making homemade pasta for his wife.

The couple then enjoy eating the fruits of Brooklyn's labour in bed with their dogs.

They tied the knot in April this year in a $4million wedding in front of 500 guests at Nicole's family estate in Florida.
