Brooklyn Beckham’s show raises eyebrows amid reports of 62-strong team and £74K an episode budget

The son of powerhouse couple David and Victoria Beckham has raised eyebrows as he started his chef journey.

Speaking about his cooking TV show on Facebook, Brooklyn Beckham admitted "I’m not a chef yet”.

Brooklyn has dabbled in other creative industries including photography and modelling.

However his cookery show has drawn comments as he reportedly spends £74,000 for every episode, reports BirminghamLive.

It was also alleged he had a crew of 62 people including a 'culinary producer' who approves the recipes.

A source told the New York Post : "It's unheard of. It's the sort of crewing you would expect on a big TV show."

Brooklyn has previously appeared on James Corden's Late Show where he cooked a steak versus the TV presenter.

During a trailer for the new show, Brooklyn addresses his love of cooking.

Brooklyn shows enthusiasm for cooking on his Instagram page where he cooks with legend Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

A separate video for Vogue shows the son of the Beckhams cooking pasta for his fiancee Nicola Peltz.

“My name is Brooklyn Beckham and I just love to cook," the 22 year old explains in a trailer for the video, which will be streamed via Facebook Messenger's streaming service and video platform.

He then added: "I’m not a chef yet. This is the start of my food journey. I love making food for people that I love and that I enjoy hanging out with.

“I’m going to work my a**e off and see where I get. I’m getting goosebumps about it, but I’m so excited.”

Brooklyn has admitted mum Victoria doesn't cook, but says he has been instilled with a love of food by his dad.
