Brooklyn Beckham’s latest tattoo fuels feud with mum Victoria

The ongoing feud between David and Victoria Beckham and their son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz appears to have taken another turn.

Brooklyn, the eldest of the couple’s four children, has altered a tattoo once dedicated to his mother.

In 2018, the chef and hot sauce entrepreneur, 26, had the words "mama’s boy" inked over his heart. However, in a new Glamour magazine cover shoot, the distinctive wording appears to have been obscured by a large bunch of flowers, believed to represent Peltz’s wedding bouquet.

On the cover, he poses with his shirt open as Peltz loops a possessive finger through the belt loop of his jeans. In another image, Brooklyn is shirtless with his chest fully exposed, including the modified tattoo.

He is said to have around 100 tattoos, with roughly 70 dedicated to Peltz, 30, and her family.

The couple tied the knot in April 2022, and tensions between Peltz and Victoria have reportedly simmered ever since.

The rift made headlines again last month when Brooklyn and the Transformers actress were noticeably absent from David Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday celebrations in London.

According to sources, the snub left the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer experiencing sleepless nights, living through what she described as her "worst nightmare."

An insider told the Daily Mail: "Victoria dislikes Nicola intensely and it’s been war behind the scenes pretty much ever since the wedding. It’s always been a tug of war about Brooklyn, and Victoria has not wanted to let go."

They added: "Victoria feels he has been absorbed into the Peltzes and that his life is all about that family... Even when Nicola and Brooklyn went out to Paris for Victoria’s fashion show, they stayed with her family because her mother likes to go to the couture shows."

Brooklyn and Peltz are said to have been hurt by the fallout but remain united, with a friend telling the same publication: "Everything they do, they do together" — a sentiment clearly reflected in their latest magazine spread.

In the accompanying interview, Brooklyn offered his own take, saying: "Don’t listen to all the nonsense. Keep your head down, work hard, stay friendly. There will always be people who talk. The important thing is that we’re happy together."
