Brooklyn Beckham is "too immature for marriage" – according to one of his former girlfriends.
American hip-hop artist Lexy Panterra, 31, dated 21-year-old Brooklyn for 12 months between 2018 and 2019 – and thinks the celebrity sprog is "too immature" to settle down.
Lexy warns Brooklyn’s new fiancée, billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, 25, that the lad – who is famous for being the son of David and Victoria Beckham – doesn’t take relationships seriously enough.
The performer met Brooklyn at a music festival before embarking on a year-long romance – but found their age difference and the fact that he split his time between the UK and New York while she lived in LA an issue.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Lexy expressed her surprise at hearing Brooklyn had got down on one knee after only nine months of dating Nicola.
She said: "It’s not something anyone was expecting and, honestly, Brooklyn is not ready for that. He is very young and way too immature.”
She warned: “I don’t know why he falls in love every few minutes. There is no consistency in his relationships. He has a new chick every month, so it’s surprising he would try to do this.”
Reflecting on her own romance with the aspiring photographer, Lexy says their relationship was destined to fail.
She said: “We are not together any more because of his immature ways and him not being a good friend.
“I don’t want to say exactly why we split. I don’t want to bash him. The long distance thing was a factor for sure.
“It was a relationship that I could never take seriously, to be honest. The age gap was a big deal. You can tell immediately that he is a little immature.”
She also went on to describe Brooklyn’s appearance as “babyish” and warned he has too many “random friends” in his life.
Brooklyn stunned fans earlier this month when it was revealed he invited Nicola to be his wife.
He is believed to have spanked £350,000 on an engagement ring for the Transformers actress – while the pair have shamelessly flaunted their romance on social media by sharing loved up, snogging fuelled images galore.
