Brooklyn Beckham & Roger Federer Have Been Locked In A Legal Battle Over… Hot Sauce

Football nepobaby Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly run into some legal issues as he attempts to expand his hot sauce venture. This time, it involves a major shoe brand that’s copped millions in investments from tennis legend Roger Federer.

About a year ago, Brooklyn, the eldest son of UK power couple David and Victoria Beckham, made his debut in the condiments market by announcing his new spicy sauce range, Cloud23, which has been released under his firm Buster Hot Sauce Inc.

While the product has brought a shit-tonne of joy to the footballer-turned-model-turned-photographer-turned-chef, who revealed it was his “passion project” at the time of its debut, Brooklyn has already been embroiled in three lawsuits regarding his food empire.

In this most recent legal battle, The Sun reports that the name Cloud23 provoked a legal battle with Swiss footwear brand On, which is known for its On Cloud shoes.

The brand has been backed by Roger, who’s invested a ‘yuge $50 million into the company, and has been endorsed by other major celebrities like Zendaya and Kaia Gerber.

Per the UK publication, On submitted a “tentative objection” to Cloud23’s trademark application, under classifications such as food, alcohol, sauces, live streaming and sports equipment.

But in some good news for Brooklyn, the legal issue was reportedly resolved as On never proceeded with its objection threat, with Cloud23’s trademark officially registered.

In June, The Sun reported that Brooklyn faced legal issues with German alcohol brand Becks over its application of the name Beck’s Buns, and a California luxury wine business, Stag’s Leap Cellars, after Brooklyn attempted to trademark the name “C23”.

To avoid further issues with Stag’s Leap Cellars, Brooklyn’s firm revoked the classification of all types of booze from their application.

You see, Brooklyn named his sauce “Cloud23” after his father’s number 23 jersey, which he donned for Real Madrid and LA Galaxy.

The 26-year-old’s legal issues surrounding his hot sauce venture come amidst rumours of a bitter family feud between him and his famous family.

You see, rumours of a family feud first surfaced when Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, skipped out on this year’s Met Gala. Fans also noticed that the duo were absent from David’s multiple 50th birthday parties.

However, rumours claimed the feud was actually surrounding Romeo’s now-ex, Kim Turnbull, who allegedly has a romantic history with Brooklyn, which she has since denied. But then other rumours claimed the rift actually stemmed from personality clashes between Victoria and Nicola.

While neither the Brooklyn, Nicola, nor the broader Beckham family have publicly commented on the rumoured rift, Cruz Beckham was accused of posting shady comments about his older brother and his missus.

Prior to this major tea, the whole family were present for the launch of Brooklyn’s Cloud23 sauce, like a big happy familia!
