Brooklyn Beckham has poked fun at his ongoing family feud in a new World Cup advert.
The 27-year-old aspiring chef is estranged from his parents, Sir David Beckham and Lady Victoria Beckham, and he condemned them publicly in a scathing Instagram rant earlier this year but he's now seemingly mocked the situation in a commercial filmed for food delivery service DoorDash in which he declares he's watching the soccer tournament from home.
Brooklyn is seen throwing a pile of World Cup tickets down and sniggering as he says: "You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home ... It's a long story."
The advert ends with the worlds: "It's complicated. More soon."
Brooklyn's soccer tickets are seen lying on the floor next to a camera, a pile of unopened letters and a £250,000 watch - similar to one given to him by his father - which sits on a coffee table.
A source close to the Beckhams has since declared the couple are saddened by Brooklyn's decision to cash in on the family rift in an advert.
The insider told The Sun newspaper: "To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated and sister and grandparents are inconsolable …
"It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and the trying to cash in on it all.
"He says he wants nothing to do with his family, but is now trading off them by using one of his footballing father’s legacies – the World Cup – as an advertising selling point.
"Brooklyn is absolutely entitled to go and make his own money – his parents laud such ambition – but taking the mick out of a deep-rooted, heartbreaking family situation is not the one."
The advert was released shortly after Brooklyn's 14-year-old sister Harper was pictured arriving at his house in Los Angeles in an SUV on Friday (12.06.26) and handing over a letter after the family gathered in Los Angeles to see David unveil his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Brooklyn wasn't at home at the time of the visit and he later accused his famous parents of staging the stunt.
Representatives for the couple said in a statement: "[The fact] that photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all - this was choreographed for the cameras."
Beckham family insiders have slammed the "nasty accusation", telling the Daily Mail: "It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother.
"Nothing needed to be said at all so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary."
Brooklyn sent shockwaves around the world in January when he issued a strongly-worded statement on Instagram in which he insisted he did "not want to reconcile" with his parents and accused them of attempting to control the public narrative surrounding their family’s every movement.
Brooklyn said at the time in his lengthy statement: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private."
He added: “Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."
Brooklyn continued: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life."
He later alleged his mother behaved “in an inappropriate way” during his wedding celebrations with Nicola Peltz in 2022, further fuelling reports of tensions between Nicola and Victoria that had circulated since the ceremony in Florida.
David refused to talk about the feud in an interview with Variety to coincide with his Walk of Fame star.
The 51-year-old former footballer was asked how he deals with the “vicious” media coverage about the “strife” in his family, and he replied: “To be honest, I'm sorry to stop you there, but that's a private matter.
"That's the one thing that I don't want to talk about."
As well as Harper, David was joined by wife Victoria and their two other sons, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, at the Walk Of Fame ceremony.
