Brooklyn Beckham lands role with his movie star fiancee Nicola Peltz on her new film

Photographer Brooklyn Beckham has teamed up with his actress fiancée Nicola Peltz as she makes her directorial debut on a new film.

Brooklyn, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, is said to be on photography duty on the set of Lola James, an independent film co-directed, produced, written by and starring Nicola, reports the Mirror.

Production is underway in LA on the movie which is set to make her a big player in Hollywood.

A source said: “Brooklyn and Nicola are a very creative couple and Brooklyn has a way with ­capturing moments in images.

“Nicola is going to have a lot on and he is believed to be working to document this new adventure.”

The film, set in 2002, is about a brother and sister who face a drugs crisis.

It tells the story of 19-year old Lola James, who spirals into a drug addiction.

Nicola, 26, will star in the lead role alongside Oscar nominee Virginia Madsen, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2004 hit Sideways. The Florida Project star Bria Vinaite will co-direct.

Proud Brooklyn shared a photo on his Instagram of himself and Nicola on set holding a clapperboard.

"I am so proud of you and looking forward to seeing this project," he penned.

"You are the most talented person and I am so happy that your dream is coming true.

"You have worked your bum off to create an amazing movie and an amazing piece of art.

"I am so lucky I got to be a part of it and got to meet the amazing cast and crew.

"I can’t wait to see the most amazing movie 'Lola James'."

And Nicola replied to her man: "I love you more than I could ever put into words. i’m so lucky to call you mine."

The New York-born actress got her big break opposite Mark Wahlberg in Tranformers: Age of Extinction and the drama thriller series Bates Motel.

Brooklyn studied photography at the Parsons School of Design in New York and in 2019 he interned for British photographer Rankin.

His book of photography What I See was published in June 2017.

Brooklyn and Nicola announced their engagement last summer.

Alongside a picture of the delighted pair, showing off Nicola's huge sparkler of an engagement ring, he said: "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx"

"I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day."

He ended the post: "I love you baby xx"

Nicola also shared the image taken by Brooklyn's little sister Harper, nine, and wrote to her husband-to-be: "You've made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side."

Sharing the same image, former Spice Girl Victoria said: "The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married!

"Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much x"
