Brooklyn Beckham lands £1 million deal to be face of streetwear brand Superdry

Brooklyn Beckham has landed himself a bumper payment by landing a modelling job with high street clothing company Superdry.

The 22-year-old former photographer has decided to put himself in front of the camera for a change – and is banking a cool one million for his efforts.

Brooklyn has shot a new campaign for the British streetwear brand – with himself posing with his tattooed chest exposed beneath an open outdoor jacket.

He is also hosting a party with the brand in London on Tuesday night where Superdry’s new sustainable fashion range will be showcased.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “This is a huge opportunity for Brooklyn and will cement him as a real name in the men’s fashion world.

“It’s a great gig for him to land and has given him focus.

"He’s really keen on sustainability too, so he’s excited to get stuck in.”

While a one million pound pay check might sound large to most, it might be regarded as loose change for Brooklyn – who is from a family with huge personal wealth.

Much has been made of the fact that famous parents David and Victoria Beckham have a £335 million fortune and live in a £6 million second home in the Cotswolds.

While Dave sparked fury last month when it was discovered he had been adding to the family wealth by accepting a £150 million deal to be the face of the Qatar World Cup despite the controversial country having outrageous human rights inequality.

Dave’s appointment – and payment – has lead to calls for him to be stripped of his UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador title.

While the Mirror branded his decision to agree to a huge payout to front the controversial upcoming Qatar games as “unforgivable”.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn is making sure he stays rich one way or another – by marrying into even more money.

He is engaged to 26-year-old American model and actress Nicola Peltz – who is the daughter of billionaire businessman and invested Nelson Peltz, 79.

Brooklyn and Nicola are already the face of Pepe Jeans – making his new deal to front Superdry just his latest effort to follow in the footsteps of his father.

The engaged couple have been sharing photos and videos via social media where they endorse the jeans brand.

One recent video showed Brooklyn deciding what outfit his fiancée should wear – picking out a little black dress for her which he declared she would “look pretty” wearing.

Gushing about his future wife in a recent post, Brooklyn wrote: "The past few years have been the best years of my life x you make me smile, and laugh everyday. I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to spend the rest of my life with you xx 2 down forever to go I love you nicola."
