While Brooklyn Beckham’s feud with his famous family gets messier and messier by the day, it appears the footballer-turned-model-turned-photographer-turned-chef hasn’t completely given up on his loved ones.
A new report from The Mirror claims that although Brooklyn hasn’t spoken to his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, in more than a year, he has kept in close contact with his grandparents.
“Brooklyn is still very fond of his grandparents. There is a lot of love for them, and that has never faltered,” an insider told the publication.
Both sets of Brooklyn’s grandparents are still alive — including Victoria’s famously “working class” mum and dad — and they posed for photos together at his engagement party with Nicola Peltz Beckham in 2022.

The source went on to claim that, despite some seemingly shady social media posts over the holiday season, David and Victoria “will never give up trying to secure a reconciliation between them and their son”.
“Nothing will change that, and they live in hope,” they continued. “He will always be their son, and they are not going to stop putting on record their feelings.”
The Beckham family feud reached new heights last month when Brooklyn’s brother, Cruz, claimed that he and his parents had been blocked on Instagram.
“NOT TRUE,” Cruz penned alongside a Daily Mail report claiming Victoria and David had unfollowed Brooklyn. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son…Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
David and his youngest son, Romeo, then both made headlines when they shared Instagram posts recapping 2025, with Brooklyn suspiciously absent from all the snaps. The famous footballer appeared to extend an olive branch to his eldest son a few hours later by uploading a series of throwback photos with all four of his children on his Instagram Stories.
“I love you all so much,” he wrote alongside a black-and-white snap with Brooklyn.

How did the Beckham family feud start?
Brooklyn’s rumoured feud with his famous family reportedly dates back to 2022 when insiders claimed Victoria clashed with his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham around their wedding.
The reported rift was taken to the next level this year when Brooklyn and Nicola were no-shows at David’s multiple 50th birthday parties and they copped some serious social media shade from Romeo and Cruz.
They also skipped attending the premiere of Victoria’s Netflix doco, Victoria Beckham, in October, although she did give him a shoutout at the event.
Brooklyn might have another chance to publicly support his parents soon, as the Spice Girls are rumoured to be reuniting in 2026 for their 30th anniversary. After all, who could turn down the rare opportunity to see the Spice Girls live?
