Brooklyn Beckham feared Nicola Peltz would snub him at the altar amid 'feud' with mum

Brooklyn Beckham has opened up about his wedding day jitters as he admitted he had been nervous about being jilted at the altar.

The 23-year-old aspiring chef tied the knot with actress Nicola Peltz at a lavish ceremony back in April.

The couple wed at the Peltz $103million family estate in Palm Beach, Florida, with the celebrations attended by a whole host of celebrity guests including Serena Williams, Gordon Ramsay and Eva Longoria.

Brooklyn has admitted he wondered if his 27-year-old bride would even want to walk down the aisle, with his confession coming amid reports of a feud between Nicola and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.

The women are said to have been embroiled in a heated conflict after Nicola didn't wear a dress designed by Posh Spice.

"I was a little bit nervous. Actually, I was very nervous. Right before, I was like, 'Oh my god, what if she doesn't walk down'," Brooklyn admitted in a new interview.

However, he said his worries melted away when he saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle.

"I was on my guard: 'I'm marrying my best friend, what if she doesn't want to?' But I walked down and as soon as she came out, I burst out crying. It was an amazing day," he said in a conversation with Interview Magazine.

Rumours of a feud between Nicola and Victoria started after the wedding.

The actress had planned to wear a dress designed by Victoria for her wedding, however this fell through at the last minute and Nicola instead walked down the aisle in a custom Valentino gown.

Victoria recently tried to put feud rumours to bed and said she is always there to "support" her son and daughter-in-law.

During an appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast, the former Spice Girl recalled going on tour while she was pregnant with Brooklyn before turning to focus on his relationship with Nicola.

When asked if she is "trying to give advice" to the newlyweds, she said: "We're so close to our children, I think it's all about communication.

"You're just trying to do the best that you can as a parent and support your kids.

"You want them to be happy, hard-working, good, kind human beings.

"But ultimately, you know, the kids have got to do what they're going to do. You've just got to be there to support them and love them."
