Brooklyn Beckham 'deepens family rift as he and Nicola Peltz snap up £11m LA mansion'

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have reportedly purchased a £10.5 million mansion in Los Angeles, a move that could further complicate relations with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

The couple, who had been renting in the area, are said to have exchanged on the Hollywood property recently.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features a cinema room, home gym, and an infinity pool.

According to reports, the decision to buy reflects Brooklyn’s long-term plans to remain in the U.S., where his wife’s family is based.

Sources said therefore there is little chance of Brooklyn returning to the UK, and reuniting with his parents, anytime soon.

A source told The Sun: “Brooklyn's wife is American, as are her family whom he adores, and he feels his life now is Stateside.

“As an influencer he can work from anywhere but Brooklyn believes he has more opportunities in LA. It will be a dagger to the heart for his parents.”

They added that hopes of the 26-year-old returning to the UK have now been “quashed”.

“Until now, the couple have always been renting so there was hope his relocation wouldn't be permanent. This house purchase quashes any last hopes.”

The Standard has contacted Brooklyn Beckham’s rep for comment.

The couple’s latest milestone follows mounting speculation over a reported rift between Brooklyn and his family, which came to a head after he and Nicola were absent from all of David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations last month.

Despite the absence, David appeared to extend an olive branch in a heartfelt Father’s Day message on Instagram, sharing a series of family photos and writing: “I will always be here for you no matter what.”

He shared pictures of Victoria alongside their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, throughout the years.

Subtly reaching out to his eldest son, he wrote: “My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad... I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what...

“Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad... Happy Father's Day... I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.. @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven @tedbeckhamdavid.”

Brooklyn, however, did not publicly acknowledge the post.

Meanwhile, Romeo’s ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull publicly denied long-standing rumours that she dated Brooklyn during their teenage years, after she found herself at the centre of a swirling family fallout between the Beckham brothers.

It had been speculated that Turnbull’s alleged past with Brooklyn, 25, was a contributing factor in the tensions, particularly after reports claimed his wife Nicola Peltz felt “uncomfortable” around her.
