Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz ready to turn Victoria Beckham into 'Granny Spice'

Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, are reportedly keen to start their family and launch Victoria Beckham into her new era of "Granny Spice".

The aspiring chef, 24, has long been vocal about his desire to put a bun in his wife’s oven but has been patiently waiting for his bride to come round to the idea of starting soon.

Speaking in an interview last year, he said: “My parents had me at 23. I'm 23 now. I've always wanted to get married young, I've always wanted to have kids young, to grow up with my kids when I'm still young.”

According to Brooklyn, however, Nicola needed “a little bit more time”, adding, “I’ve always said: 'Whenever you're ready, I'm ready’.”

Speaking about the prospect of a big family, the Transformers star has previously said: "He wants kids yesterday. I think in a couple of years. We definitely want a big family. He has three siblings, I have seven.”

Nicola’s siblings include six brothers, Brad, Will, Matthew, Diesel, Zachary, and Gregory, and a sister named Brittany.

While Brooklyn is the eldest of four children: Romeo, 19, Cruz, 17, and Harper Seven, 11.

And when asked if she would have eight children, the Holidate actress said: "It's a lot but... I don't know.

"We want to adopt some kids, have some of our own. That would be the dream."

Now, a source close to the couple and families has revealed it may not be long before a baby announcement is on the way, saying that Nicola “wants a baby”.

However, not everyone is thrilled about what a new addition to the brood will bring for the overall brand and how it will affect the lives of all involved.

According to the source, fashion designer Victoria is having conflicting feelings about the prospect of becoming “Granny Spice” at 48.

Speaking to the MailOnline, the Beckham/Peltz insider said: “She loves her son, and wants him to be happy – so you know that what delights him delights her. Of course.

“However, she isn't sure she wants to be a grandmother.”

Earlier this month Nicola addressed the ongoing rumours of a feud between her and mother-in-law Victoria.

It was first speculated the two had a falling out over Nicola’s wedding to Brooklyn.

The American actress married the Spice Girl’s eldest son, Brooklyn in a lavish ceremony last year, however issues over the dress, first dances and more led to a falling out between them.

Both Nicola and Victoria have refuted reports of bad blood between the two, with the latter speaking to Cosmopolitan, in a bid to clear the air.

The actress said: "I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud. I don’t know. No one ever wants to write nice the things.

"It’s really weird, actually, whether it’s my life or someone else’s life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong."

Nicola recently supported Victoria at the fashion shows for her clothing brand, with the rest of the Beckham family.

Afterwards, Victoria posted a photo of her family supporting her on Instagram, with Nicola commenting the sweet message under the post: "A beautiful show! We love you!"
