LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. is only 14 years old, but he’s already becoming a must-watch talent on the summer travel circuit.
On Wednesday, he nearly reached a milestone moment in his young basketball career. He came awfully close to throwing down his first in-game poster dunk. Like, so close.
The play came from a tournament game in Las Vegas with his travel team, the North Coast Blue Chips. Bronny saw a clean path to the basket with one defender under the rim, and he went for it. Bronny’s contested dunk attempt would slam off the back rim, sure, but check out the reactions from the fans.
They were stunned. Everyone was ready to go nuts over a Bronny poster dunk, especially his younger brother Bryce Maximus.
We could only imagine how the elder LeBron would have reacted to that completed dunk. Something tells me that we won’t have to wait too long, though. It’s only a matter of time until Bronny puts someone on a poster.
