Bronny James Jr.’s Sierra Canyon to face LeBron’s alma mater St. Vincent-St. Mary’s

While LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have high expectations, the first high school basketball season for his son Bronny James is surrounded by hype of a different kind as everyone is curious to see what he does at the next level. However, the latest bit of news involving Bronny will definitely get people thinking about watching his Dad in high school, because they’ll be able to see Bronny facing his father’s alma mater in his home state of Ohio.

Bronny and his Sierra Canyon squad, which also features Zaire Wade, son of Dwyane Wade, as well highly ranked seniors BJ Boston and Ziaire Williams, will face LeBron’s alma mater St. Vincent-St. Mary’s on a visit to Ohio, according to Tarek Fattal of the L.A. Daily News. That also happens to be an off day during an Eastern Conference road trip for the Lakers.

Wade has discussed how excited he is to cheer on his son and also cheer alongside LeBron James. Sierra Canyon is a basketball powerhouse in Southern California having won the state’s last two CIF state titles. Obviously LeBron will be pulling for his son, but it wouldn’t be much of a shock to see him representing his alma mater and his old ball coach Dru Joyce.
