Bronny James Jr. and Sierra Canyon scheduled to play in nine different states this season

Sierra Canyon expects to be the most compelling high school basketball team in America this season. After wowing crowds in China this summer, the best show in prep hoops will be hitting the road in a major way this winter. During his freshman season at Sierra Canyon in California, Bronny James Jr. and his star-studded teammates are scheduled to play in nine different states while balling out in front of capacity crowds all over the country.

Along with a trip to Akron, Ohio to square off against LeBron James’ alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary’s, the California group is also slotted to make stops in Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Virginia, Minnesota, Massachusetts and New Jersey after opening the season in San Diego according to Tarek Fattal of the Los Angeles Daily News. Among the most highly anticipated matchups is with USC-commit and No. 1 prospect in the class of 2020 Evan Mobley and Rancho Christian.

Along with Bronny James and Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire Wade, the Trailblazers are loaded with four and five-star prospects including BJ Boston, Ziaire Williams, Terren Frank, Harold Yu and Amari Bailey. Williams–a 6-8 small forward–is ranked as the No. 5 prospect in the class of 2020 and has received offers from Duke, North Carolina, Oregon and several other high-major programs. Meanwhile, Boston–a 6-6 small forward rated as the No. 9 prospect in the class of 2020–has already committed to Kentucky.

Frank is another one of Bronny’s teammates who is currently ranked in the ESPN Top 100 for the class of 2020 (No. 78). He has received offers from Arizona State, USC and Vanderbilt. Only a sophomore, Bailey is ranked as the No. 6 player in the class of 2022 and has already received an offer from UCLA. Throw in the seven-footer Yu along with Bronny and Zaire and you can start to see why so many basketball fans across the country are looking forward to catching a glimpse of these young stars this season.
