Brondby fans arrive for Rangers clash with balaclava snap that earns typical Scottish wind up

Brondby fans have been snapped around Glasgow gearing up for their Europa League showdown in balaclavas.

It's a make or break game for both Rangers and the Danish champions if they have any hopes of reaching the knockout stage.

Around 1500 supporters have made the trip from Denmark and some have caught the eye with their choice of pre-match headgear.

Fans were snapped inside a pub wearing the bright yellow and blue garment, covering their entire head, ahead of the crucial clash in Govan.

While the look may be attempting to look menacing, some punters online have taken to winding up the visitors as they posed for the snap in a pub.

One commented: "Masked up for Wetherspoons away."

Another joked: "They do look alike don't they."

Another posted an image comparing the group to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Away fans also gathered at George Square in the city centre of Glasgow before marching towards Ibrox in their numbers.

The Scottish Premiership champions are in dire need of points having failed to get off the mark so far in the group stage.

But the clash with Steven Gerrard 's side will be a welcome break from domestic duty for Brondby.

They're off to a poor start in their bid to defend their own crown with just three wins from the opening 12 games.
