Brondby sports director Benjamin Schmedes has revealed talks are 'ongoing' for a potential move for long-term Celtic transfer target Mathias Kvistgaarden.
The Hoops have been linked with a big money transfer for the 23-year-old for a couple of windows now and he seems certain to finally quit the Danish club this summer.
Celtic are one of a long list of European clubs credited with an interest in Kvistgaarden, who netted 23 goals for Brondby.

And his club gave an update on the latest transfer situation regarding their star man.
Schmedes said: "It doesn't surprise me that there is great interest in him from many teams, but I can't say that he is close to being sold or that he is far from being sold either.
"That's because it is an ongoing process and the most important thing is that we are very transparent in our dialogue with each other.
"Kvistgaarden made his debut for Denmark in a friendly against Northern Ireland earlier this month and national boss Brian Riemer praised him.
He said: "In almost all the matches I've seen Kvistgaarden play, he's been a tormentor for the opponents' defences.
"He really gets a lot out of a little.
"He is a guy who believes in even the most impossible chance. He is willing to run with and without the ball."
