Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy on trade rumors: ‘I don’t think about all that’

The Denver Broncos are 1-5 and it would not be surprising to see the team become sellers ahead of the NFL’s trade deadline (Oct. 31).

Assuming the Broncos aren’t going to trade cornerback Pat Surtain, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy might be the team’s most valuable trade asset.

After a 19-8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Jeudy was asked about the trade rumors surrounding the team.

“At the end of the day, I am going to do my part and do my job,” Jeudy said. “I don’t think about all that. I just think about I’ll just be where my feet are, you feel me? So, I can’t think about the future. I can’t think about the past. It’s out of my control. I’m just taking it day by day.”

Broncos inside linebacker Alex Singleton was also asked about the possibility of players being dealt leading up to the trade deadline.

“That’s obviously way above my head,” Singleton said. “They can do what they want to do. For the guys that are here, we’re going to play football games. That’s our job and we’ll let them do their job. If you’re not winning football games, then upstairs can do whatever they want.”

Singleton probably isn’t going anywhere, but NFL teams in need of more wide receiver depth will likely call the Broncos about both Jeudy and fellow receiver Courtland Sutton. We’ll be tracking all of the latest trade buzz on Broncos Wire leading up to the deadline.
