Broncos would select 14th overall in 2022 NFL draft if season ended today

Following a disappointing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the Denver Broncos enter their bye week with a 5-5 record. Denver’s right in the middle of the pack — not quite good enough for a playoff berth but also not quite bad enough to secure a top pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

Ten weeks into the season, the Broncos are currently on pace to select 14th overall in next year’s draft. Here’s a look at the current order for the top 15 picks in the 2022 NFL draft, courtesy of Tankathon.com.

1. Detroit Lions (0-8-1)
2. Houston Texans (1-8)
3. New York Jets (2-7)
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7)
5. Philadelphia Eagles (via Miami Dolphins, 3-7)
6. New York Giants (3-6)
7. New York Jets (via Seattle Seahawks, 3-6)
8. New York Giants (via Chicago Bears, 3-6)
9. Washington Football Team (3-6)
10. Philadelphia Eagles (4-6)
11. Atlanta Falcons (4-5)
12. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers, 4-5)
13. Minnesota Vikings (4-5)
14. Denver Broncos (5-5)
15. Philadelphia Eagles (via Indianapolis Colts, 5-5)

The Broncos currently have 11 picks to use in next year’s draft, including five selections in the first three rounds. The 2022 NFL draft will be held in Las Vegas from April 28-30.
